First Ladies Night of Season a hit at The Meadows at Pemberton

June 18, 2010

The first Ladies night of the golf season was hosted by the Meadows in Pemberton along with the now locally famous Black Squirrel Restaurant and lounge.  About 20 ladies took advantage of the great deal which included nine holes of golf, carts, and a scrumptious dinner for $40 ($50 for 18 holes!).  The highlight of the night was a young bear running across the golf course – to avoid stray balls I am sure – diving into the water around hole 8 and then bounding over the road to the Lillooet River for more swimming.

The scores were not so good for most but the beautiful views and the warm weather of Pemberton made that of little consequence.

The Bar-B-Que Ribs and a cold beer also made the evening a wonderful social night out to reunite with old friends and to make some new ones.

They offer a shuttle service from Whistler so everyone can relax and enjoy the event. Highly recommend this experience on Thursday nights.  http://www.pembertongolf.com/
